Belmullet is a coastal Gaeltacht town with a population of around 1,000. It is the commercial and cultural heart of the Erris Peninsula, which has a population of almost 10,000 in the North West of Mayo. Bus Éireann route 446 links Belmullet with Bangor Erris, Crossmolina and Ballina. Onward bus and rail connections are available at Ballina.
Unit 6 lower Barrack street Belmullet, Co. Mayo is part of an overall mixed use development which is within walking distance of the town centre and overlooks the harbour to the rear. With another retail unit adjoining this retail unit has residential accommodation overhead and it extends to accommodate an open plan retail unit with concrete floors and ceiling. the unit is completed with WC facilities and has been wired and cabled as well as having electric storage heating supplied. With little effort the premises could be available for immediate retail use or, subject to planning, could be re-purposed as a unique ground floor residential unit overlooking the harbour.
